INNOVATIONS IN MOVEMENT ANALYSIS:
PROGRESS IN CLINICAL PRACTICE,
IN REHABILITATION AND SPORT
It is with enthusiasm that the "pearl of Lake Maggiore", Stresa, prepares to welcome the annual congress of the Italian Society of Movement Analysis in Clinic (SIAMOC), now in its twenty-fourth edition. The itinerant congress boasts of having been held in the main Italian cities, including last year in the capital. It is the meeting opportunity for the members of the SIAMOC society, whose intent is to progress in the scientific research of human movement, with an interaction between the clinical and university worlds, in the synergy of the different professional figures. In each edition, researchers have the opportunity to share their recent work and gain knowledge of that of others, also thanks to the guests who give the master classes. In fact, internationally selected professors are invited to intervene with their contributions of the highest level. Stresa and its surrounding area will therefore act as the backdrop to this framework of scientific value. Small, little known compared to the capital cities, but so characteristic and evocative, Stresa can truly be discovered as the pearl that it is, enclosed by the mountains and overlooking the lake and its islands.
To give further light to the territory, the organizational committee of SIAMOC 2024 - whose members are from the territory itself - is pleased to involve companies and local authorities. In fact, there will be the possibility of working alongside the scientific sponsors, who support the event in each edition, making themselves known and publicizing the riches that the area offers.
